A web crawler that vitsis your site doesn’t necessarily increase your rankings. It’s how content rich your site is and LSI copywriting. Google is looking more for LSI in their algorithms. Also, when you backlink make sure that you are linking your site that have do-follow attributes. Otherwise, you have a crawler that goes to a site with your link on it and if it is a no-follow it won’t give you any link juice.
