Congratulations Larry! …and thank you for not letting Chard win another cup in a rebuilding year.
It takes a lot to win a shooter cup in OBFBL – making moves to stay on top or push up in the standings makes it very difficult to maintain a high keeper ranking (or does it).
Wei survived the Fireball punishment and passes it on to Bobby for this year…good luck…might have to rename yourself Fire Poos after draft day.
Some minor tweaks to the ranks this year – last time felt a bit dynasty heavy so I’ve gone with 1 dynasty set (Rotowire) and 3 redraft (Fantrax, Fantasy Pros, ESPN) for the composite rank.
As we head into the 2025 keeper decisions, here’s how our rosters stacked up at years end…
Somehow these are a point better than the previous year, but when Bobby commits to something, he sees it through – and he dedicated his season to wearing the Fireball on Draft Day…Congratulations! I heard Garkos wants some pitching for Dylan Crews…make it happen!
Wei decided to play his team this year and was able to pick up some nice young keepers and RKs…it’s taken a couple years, but looks like this roster is on the right track…young, lots of upside and depth…Wei might be challenging for a money spot sooner than later.
Boy it’d be nice to know where Alonso and Bregman will play wouldn’t it! Is there really a guy on your roster with an X and Z in the same first name? After a couple strong runs for a shooter cup, Kim finds himself with a pretty young roster, but also a lot of decent veterans…will he make one more push or trade the vets for the last pieces of a rebuild?
I have a really good Brenton Doyle card so I’m cheering for him to go to the hall of fame for you. I’d guess this keeper set will shift with some pretty nice players in the lower set in this group…late breakouts or down years forced them down, but they should be better in 2025.
Will this finally be the year Acuna carries Damon to a shooter cup? Lots of players in their prime could break out along with him, but will it happen all this year? I say yes!!
Oh Mike Trout, how I hope we can see a full season again. Jazz looked great in NY last year…hope he can be that fun again too. Bo…please be Bo again…we really need you…I hope the haircut plays the same way Vlad’s did.
The oldest keeper set in the league! I’ll take Mookie and Sale off your hands if you want…please. Oooh, Santander…he’ll repeat his breakout right? RIGHT? No chance this team doesn’t finish 4th.
#1 RK pick…did someone say Roki? Pair him with your top bats and maybe a recovering Shane’O’Mac and this could be a fun team.
I hear someone’s in the market for pitching…I’d take Dylan, but I failed to keep any SP’s on my roster to give you…oops. I predict a Dylan Crews for Corbin Burnes deal. Garkos look primed for a break-out year and talking trade early could make them dangerous.
A lot to like with Wheeler and Clase with power and speed in Tucker and power and power in Riley and Ozuna. I see another run in Cheese this year if the draft goes well. Might be nice if Boston decides what they’re doing with Casas though.
Thank goodness NY didn’t bring Soto back…I’d really like the Martian to actually play at some point. Jackson Merrill really is the best Jackson…could you imagine if someone traded one of the stud Jackson’s from 2024..that would be nuts. Please be healthy Christian Yelich.
Are the Jays ever going to extend Vlad? Wow, that’s a lot of studs in this lineup, nothing to guess on here…Dick Dogs are a contender (as always).
